I woke up to seeing this and cannot express how much it means to me for him to have done this. I know in my heart these knock-offs and posers will ultimatley fail because for them it's a money grab and their heart isn't in it. I care about my VHS/Analog community, my customers, and my supporters and try to show that in everything I do. The greatest reward for me though is the great friends I have made in this community. It truly is what means the most to me and is what keeps me striving to do the best I can in what I do. Sorry I can't let this go. I keep getting messages about this guy and I've worked too hard and done too much for this community to just let someone claim my design and ideas are his own. This clown markets his "VHS Saver" as a one of a kind, "unique", vhs mold cleaner and is putting it on etsy, ebay, mercari, facebook, IG, YT, everywhere. No, I'm not scared of losing sales. It's not about the money lost from the unsuspecting people he will dupe into buying his far inferior product for nearly the same price as mine. Listen, I did NOT invent the idea of a mold cleaner. I'm not claiming I did. But I DID design and implement the cleaning post and pad holder that uses folded PEC pads so you can reuse them and clean your tapes. No, it's not affordable to patent it as that costs $10k-$20k to do that. So I'll rely on my community to simple remind this or any other knock-off using my design components that it's not acceptable in the VHS community/family to take other people's work and make it your own. When only the best will do, then what’s a little wait? There’s a reason since day 1 of announcing my cleaner a year ago I’ve had a waitlist, and the customers I have all over the world can tell you why. When you buy one of my cleaners, you also get my committment to support my product no matter the need. I’ve answered IG messages on vacation, facetimed people to help figure out issues, quickly shipped out replacement parts when needed, and above all put the customers needs first! Every email has my phone number so you can reach me if you need me. Never mind the fact my cleaner works on 9 different media formats, was the first with an integrated vacuum option, reusable cleaning pads, and the first to fix the death wobble you see in other cleaners on the market. I never claimed to have invented the idea of a mold cleaning machine, there has been people doing that for years both homemade and commercial. But I DID design the best with the VHS collector and community in mind both in functionality and price. All this came about not because there’s great money in it, there’s not. But because I care about our community, our analog media, and utmost about the people who need this tool to save their beloved memories and movies!
